Consumer Reports asked 950 Americans what they simply couldn't live without. 19% of people say they can't live without their computer. That's higher than ATM's (5%) or Smart phones (7%).

Due to flooding in Thailand which has affected all four hard drive manufacturers the pricing on all hard drives has increased considerably.
